“I grew up on Chesterman Beach in Tofino with my mother, father, brothers and sister. I started surfing at age 7. When I was 14, I started competing in BCSA contests, and I qualified for the ISA World Surfing Games in the U.S.A., Brazil and Portugal.

I became a pro surfer at the age of 20. Since then I’ve been in some of the industry’s most prestigious surfing publications: Transworld Surf, Surfer Magazine, Surfing Magazine, the Surfer’s Journal and the Surfer’s Path.

Right now, my goals are to keep shooting pictures and video around the world, so the next generation of Canadian surfers can have a path to follow. I also own and operate Westside Surf School.”
