“I was born in Tofino, and right from the start I was comfortable in the water. I was always playing or boogieboarding in the surf as a kid, but I didn’t start stand-up surfing until I was 12. I’m 15 now, going into Grade 10. I work at a surf school during the summer, and surf every day. My hope for the years to come are to travel a lot, and to go to as many competitions as I can while finishing school.”
